So who is *not* "odd, confused, bizarre"?
Being "odd" or "bizarre" is to be an individual.
If we accept that the human race has free will 
then we accept it is full of individuals.

Social norms are a totally artificial construct that betray the
indivduality inherent in being human.
This is regardless of whether one is from a tribe in the Amazon
a church in the American bible belt, a gang of homeboys or
even a subculture that transcends geographical boundaries.

David Lynch in movies like BlueVelvet and TwinPeaks makes a point of
revealing just how strange the *seemingly* normal people are.
It seems likely that those who *look* wierd are merely more
comfortable whith who they are and more honest about it.
Because they exercise their individuality they in fact exorcise
many demons which your average bank clerk unwittingly harbours and feeds.

And with respect to "confused"...
