So who is *not* "odd, confused, bizarre"? Being "odd" or "bizarre" is to be an individual. If we accept that the human race has free will then we accept it is full of individuals. Social norms are a totally artificial construct that betray the indivduality inherent in being human. This is regardless of whether one is from a tribe in the Amazon a church in the American bible belt, a gang of homeboys or even a subculture that transcends geographical boundaries. David Lynch in movies like BlueVelvet and TwinPeaks makes a point of revealing just how strange the *seemingly* normal people are. It seems likely that those who *look* wierd are merely more comfortable whith who they are and more honest about it. Because they exercise their individuality they in fact exorcise many demons which your average bank clerk unwittingly harbours and feeds. And with respect to "confused"... ______________________________________________ Transcribed for the Undesirable Propagation Unit.
